Hi
I bought a 6000 c on auction
Cleaned it and am left with 2 plastic tube things
I can't remember were they came from
Can anyone help please
Tried the schematic but couldn't figure it
I thought they were on top of the brake blocks and flattened them a bit
Am going to put them in hot water and shape them in a tube again
Thanks

Centrifugal brake blocks?  They're not the factory blocks. But brake blocks are easy to lose.  They fall off the pins and onto the ground/floor as soon as the side plate is removed.  Once they're lost people make them out of a piece of wire insulation or tubing.

Think that's a two block system? Should be two metal pins on the handle side of the spool, when you take the whole side plate off. And I have come across Abu black fiber brake blocks in my reels before.

No there are two white brake blocks on the right side  , even though they fit over like a sleeve I can't move the spool when I reassemble
on the 6000 c schematic it shows them as part number 12134 , clicker set spacer sleeve ?

Man, I'm lost.  Can you provide a link to the schematic you are using?

.... unless they are gaskets for the head plate quick-take-apart thumb screws

Gregory

I highlighted the part in yellow
It's a 91-0 on the rod foot
Thanks

I realise it might be logical but at 61 I get a little flustered 😁
Should I push these on after the clicker thing goes on the screw shroud then place cover  and screw it down , so they act like a shock absorbers for the ratchet clicker ?

After a cup of morning coffee , I pulled the reel apart again and figured it out
Lesson is take pictures as you disassemble a reel 😇
