Weird coincidence but just lost out on a smaller champ and this afternoon my neighbor hands my a nice DQ champion 5000 on a Olympic 9' rod but the kicker is i have to hand it to his 12 year old son as a catfish rig.  I did so plus another Olympic rod same size but metal eye's instead of the white insert eye's on the other.  Neighbor just didn't want to know he got it at work, cleaning out buildings. Quite the rig on the upper Miss,  kid loves to fish but this is a little overkill ;D

I was so dumbfounded i didn't take any pic's, maybe when he gets home from school. I'd like to compare a 275 for size and my 265.  I cought a few cat last week then the dogfish took over the spot and had some good fights on the 275.  Think i added drag washers and know Cal's grease for sure, nice and smooth.
