Hello all,
First time poster looking to see if anyone has seen an issue I'm working on.  Proficient at disassembling and reassembling reels and can usually figure out what's wrong, but not this time.  Working on a Tatula that when the drag is tightened down and you give a good tug on the line, the reel clicks, almost like when you push the button down to cast, and then line pulls out and the reel handle spins backwards.  If you reel forward, it clicks again, just like if you had casted and started reeling, and it operates like normal.  If you loosen the drag, it works like it should.  I took it all apart, and nothing looks out of place or broken, except the roller bearing, just looks like junk.  I'm going to replace this, but I just don't understand what could be making the click noise.  I can't replicate the back reeling issue trying to use the reel handle, so it doesn't seem like a roller bearing issue, but that's all I got at the moment. This obviously causes issues when setting the hook.  Any thoughts?

Just spitballing....  while replacing the clutch bearing check the pinion gear slots for ramped sides, maybe the roll pin is camming out under pressure?
TLDs do the same sort of thing when the slot in the LH sideplate gets cut out.
