On my Ford 340B tractor recently the temp light would come on momentarily at idle after running awhile.I knew the belt was loose &  being RPM related, tightening the belt fixed the problem. I had to share this because sometimes simple things confound the wise, don't make things complicated or worry, easier said than done right.

Troubleshooting tractors is a very satisfying thing. I have an old David Brown, working on it makes me happy due to the purely mechanical nature of the entire beast, it's a far cry from my daily driver which has a computer for seemingly every function of the vehicle.

Yes driving a tractor is right up there with fishing...

Ford provided a range of lawn and garden tractors to their farm machinery dealers, although Ford did not build their own lawn equipment. Jacobsen, Gilson, and Toro were all suppliers of Ford lawn tractors. The Ford lawn tractor brand was replaced by New Holland in 1988 when Ford sold their farm machinery group to Fiat.

Honest, that is not AI.  I just cut and pasted from an interweb site.  But, maybe the interweb site was made it with AI.

You guys make me want a tractor. But it would look silly parked on my 50x120 lot.
Any machine is a smoke machine if you use it wrong enough.
