Bobcat

Hey all,
Thanks for letting me join in! I have a small collection of reels, a few vintage Zebco 33's and a few Abu Garcia Ambassadors along with a couple of others. I found the forum while looking for parts for a reel I bought at auction a while back. Anyway, I'm looking forward to participating in the community and hopefully contributing something meaningful on occasion!

Welcome down the rabbit hole. You may one day think back to this as back when you had a "reasonable" collection.

Hey Don,
I fish fresh water mostly anymore although I did do some fishing for redfish a couple weeks ago and I have to say it was a great time. I'm not really a collector, more like an accumulator. I like quality reels but I have a few beaters too. I have a Mitchell CAP, Swedish Ambassadeurs in, 5600AL, 6000, 6000-C and a 6500C4. I have a Penn Senator 4/0 as my only Penn, it's a holdout from my Navy days. I also have some dozen or so US made Zebco 33's ranging in age from a 1956 (I think) to the mid 1980's. I probably have another dozen or so run of the mill newer reels that I do most of my fishing with. 90% of the fishing I do these days is for rainbow trout here in Missouri.

Welcome Bobcat from the SoCal Inland Empire.  Lived in Ozark for many years and fished all over the area, caught many trout on Taneycomo below Table Rock Dam. - john
