Bent main shaft on spinning reel affecting drag?

I bet this little Shakespeare is starting to feel like the frog in the high school biology class but here goes some more.
1)Addressed the bent shaft with the advice from above--not perfect but not binding anymore.
2) Cleaned up and added a little grease to the drag washers (since haven't found replacement washers or donor reel yet) with the theory that this would counteract some of the compression of the felt -didn't seem to help much

3)Anyway, decided to take apart the drag knob and see if that is a factor and the parts are pictured. Is this right? Kind of offends my sense of symmetry that there wouldn't be two of the tiny springs and two of the little ball bearing balls. I don't think I lost them when it apart - but who knows. Just curious.
