Last weekend it was my wife Birthday, she really like to eat Shrimps, well, time to call my amigo who is a commercial fisherman and its Shrimp season in Baja, so, I could get some  fresh Shrimp for her, I actually have to wait at the side of the boat until the fishermen took the shrimp out from the nets (yes, that fresh),  I put some fillets of "Carne asada" cuts on the grill while the charcoal was in the perfect time for the main dish,  the main dish was 4# of grilled marinated Shrimps, nothing fancy or michellin star dish, just the shrimp and some Corn in the husk and a good chat and wine with family and friends

Nice Alex, Happy Birthday to your wife (name).  Dominick
Leave the gun.  Take the cannolis.

There are two things I don't like about fishing.  Getting up early in the morning and boats.  The rest of it is fun.

Alejandro,

My parents bring that shrimp up north to us and it's wonderful!

They haven't been in three years, but I remember it like yesterday!

Wish your Amiga a happy belated birthday!

Steve
Buy it nice or buy it twice.

Straight off the boat?  And onto the coals with some Carne Asada and some corn?  Looking good!!!!  What was the marinade for the fresh camarones? - john

Im not picky or "professional" when it comes to marinades, this one was just a spoon of honey, herbs we had on hand, oyster sauce, butter, salt, fresh grounded pepper, the Shrimps were delicious with all the flavors and the grill/smoke taste.

I always like cilantro on grilled shrimp but it can be overpowering
