Here's 2 of my absolute favorite reels I own I've customized the cardinal reels quite a bit. I think only the main body and  gears are original. 4 ball bearings. Lightened body and rotor, ball bearing line roller and many more. An absolute beasts in small packages.

"intrigued" is an understatement. This is cool. I didn't even know that people upgraded cardinals.
Any machine is a smoke machine if you use it wrong enough.

Godda ask though, what's that little crank looking thing on the side-plates?
Fishing tackle is an art form and all fish caught on the right tackle are"Gfish"!
