4c here and non stop rain, our weather liars are predicting -6c and snow Saturday. Our yard and driveway are  bottomless mud from the rain but even with our house destroyed many people are far worse off from floods and landslides.

Christmas in a motel sucks but it could be worse.  Last night I drove past a homeless person huddled on the sidewalk on the leeward side of a building under a tarp.  I normally do not care but this hit me a bit.  The misson would have taken him/her in if they were clean/sober.  Things for us could be far worse for us and are for too many.

I hope everyone is safe and warm.... well cool for those south of the equator.
