I was putting a coffee can special back together and realized it had been awhile since I went into a small Penn spinner, so I was hunting tutorial...seems it was three years almost to the date that I was doing the same thing, as I see I was the last commenter on the thread. I managed to scrounge all but two parts out of bags and boxes that are cosmetic but it winds rough. I am looking around on here to see where I might shim.

And....picked up some nog yesterday :)

been a while since I've been on, still a fan of the old smaller penns. Haven't been on here in a while as they don't take much keep them working well, that is as long as you make sure a line roller screw hasn't worked loose. Was fishing the other weekend let a buddy use a rod with an old 4300ss. The rod/reel stay in the boat in the rod box most the year. Well I guess my line roller screw worked loose. While my buddy was using it of course it came out and went into the river. So if anyone has a line roller, the washer, and screw they are willing to sell me/part with I would appreciate it.
