Anyone else try some Superlube as a dielectric grease on 12v battery terminals?  I tried it over the summer and the corrosion had come back.  I'm probably due for a new battery, but am curious if anyone else has tried it and felt it wasn't as effective as other greases or just did fine?

Thanks,
Matt

My mechanic is of the belief that any grease is a waste of time on battery terminals bc the heat of the engine bay cooks/melts it off. He spray paints his terminals and swears by it.
Any machine is a smoke machine if you use it wrong enough.

I just use spray protector with felt, no grease, and never have any corrosion problems. I have a lot of 12V applications, too. Two boats with 2 batts each, 2 UTVs, 2 autos, 3 riding mowers & a tractor.
Love those open face spinning reels! (Especially ABU & ABU/Zebco Cardinals)
