I flicked this assisted open knife open and the blade snapped. I've had a few of these over the years. Usually lose them after a few years and get another. This is the first negative experience. Let's see how good their warranty is.
Any machine is a smoke machine if you use it wrong enough.

I had a Kershaw Blur break the exact same way. Fault in the blade at the thumb stud hole from the factory. Mine was corroded along the break near that hole where it'd been cracked awhile. Had had the knife 5+ yrs when it happened.

Kershaw replaced the blade. Free. Then I lost the knife a few months later.

I am not a knife geek, but I have been exposed to where there may be a few shenanigans in the knife world.  latest one I have seen is that a company called Buck River was $elling high dollar cu$tom knive$ and come to find out that the company was in financial trouble so the blade steels they advertised were not the blade steels they used.
