Quantum Cabo 60 PTS

Hey guys I recently won a Quantum Cabo 60 PTS Spinning Reel from an award banquet I was at and when I got home to take a closer look. It feels like there is a whistling grinding noise when you spin the handle. Im not sure if it's worth taking apart because the schematic shows alot of bearings on the inside and since it's brand new I was just thinking of mailing it to Quantum to fix. This noise is very loud and the reel feels like it is not as smooth as it should. I was thinking of Bearing Issues? or Washer Issues? or something rubbing but I have a feeling I may have to take it all apart to find out what. Any suggestions?
