I just got this GS-2,2nd Daiwa spinner left in my collection now.The 1st was a Mini-Mite I got from Fred.I traded it to Rob for the BM1600.
A generous member gifted me a 1300C
smooth as silk just like the
mini-mite.The GS-2 has Seiko,Japan
On the spool,it is a fine reel.

 So, about what size is it? Roughly a 5000?

 Edit: Never mind, I was able to zoom in and read the line capacity off the spool. Interestingly, if those numbers accurately relate to their other reels it would be sized somewhere in between a 1600 and 2600. An intriguing size to me, and one I that I was not aware of. Very cool.

I would say 3000 size reel,larger than I need.Good price its pretty ::) weighs more than a Penn 712.

 Quite a bit more line capacity though, I'd call this a light saltwater size while the 712's capacity makes it a med heavy freshwater reel, despite its weight.

 I think thats actually a couple ounces lighter than the various 2600's I own from that era.

Gfish

Nice. It has one of those fancy-shamancy collapsible handles.
