Shakespeare 2052 parts needed

Hi, I need three parts for my 2052 ultra light.The gear assembly 75-28-6442-01.
Reverse thread level wind screw 75-58-5888-01. The bearing is 74-14-0016-01.

I just got it and sheared off the head of the level wind screw not knowing it was reverse thread. Then I ruined the bearing with a screw driver. It's my fault for not watching the service video for a few seconds more and the guy a Young Martins Reels said it was a left handed screw right after I paused it.

So if anyone can sell me these parts, I would appreciate it.

Those old Shakespeare spinning reel parts, the Grays & Maroons, are a tough find. Most of the time they're from parted out reels. Not many new replacement parts still available for those old spinners.

Mat had a bail for one of my 2210 II,I was surprised at his Shakespeare inventory.

The Gear Assy will be hardest to find, the other parts are fairly easy... try eBay, a guy who goes by the name
'buckfever777'.... the bearing is an inch sized R4-2ZZ.... an R4-2RS works just as well- difference is double shielding vs double rubber seals. See the OEM bearing all the time on eBay.
Personally, we upgrade bearings to Hybrid Ceramic with abec-5 precision... abec-7 is overkill and costs more... we use -5 because we've a unique way of balancing the rotor assy.

Shakespeare 2052/2062 reels are quite plentiful and we've found ones that almost appear NOS at estate/yard sales for $15-$35. Of course, we're in Michigan, and back in the day 'twas Shakespeare country.

Also, keep an eye out for a reasonably priced donor reel, or two. Parts compatibility between Model No. generations needs to be heeded,too- some change over, some don't.

Personally, we stick with the 1964-68/9 model reels, or 'E*' series... just a childhood memories thing with me. 😉

I found the gear and reverse screw from Matt's Reel Repair after all.
I just need the bearing. You giving me the bearing info is much appreciated!

 It is funny that you say there are a lot of 2052s out there because in the 6 weeks or so that I have been looking, it has been hard to find them for the right price. I'm not much of a yard sale guy but I have been looking at facebook market place and facebook groups and forums like this one every day and have had no luck until now. And right after I ordered the parts from Matt's, I saw two listings for a 2052  parts reel for the same price as the parts. But they probably have a good bearing. So it would have cost less. In my mind, I ordered the parts from Matt's because I was afraid of not getting an old reel and because I was getting impatient. Plus I know the gears won't be worn down on the one from Matt's. So, I am not too mad about it.

I should probably mark this post as done, but I am going to wait until I get the parts in my mailbox!

The reason I thought Matt's didn't have the parts is because I had the wrong part numbers.
