I found a nice condition SLD20 2 speed in my reel cabinet.  It was my 50 lb 2 speed back in the days of TLD 20's and 30's.  Doing some research it looks like it can only obtain 15 lbs of drag in standard configuration.  Is there a way to get more drag out of the reel?  I would like to use it as a wahoo trolling reel on long range trips if possible.   It has an aluminum frame opposed to the graphite frame on the TLD.

I had one of these apart recently. Quite a stout reel that should be capable of fishing to more than 15lb. Odd design for the time with the drag all on the left side of the spool. I believe there's 2 Belleville washers under the drag cover, configured as (), you could try (( with a shim and see if you get more drag - you'll lose some of the progressiveness though.
