Crab Pot

My buddy's dad, my adopted dad, use to pull the brains out of deer when we'd get one on hunting trips. He used to scramble them in egg's for breakfast.

Could never bring myself to eat it, which was fine by him. "more for me then".

This was before cronick wasting disease was even a thought. But I'll still pass!  :d

I'm not a calf fry (rmo) fan, but I do like pig and turkey fries a whole lot! First time I ever had turkey fries (@ 20 yo) I about upchucked when the cook told me what I had just eaten. They were so good I couldn't wait until he had them again. I even helped cut pigs a little while later so we could have a big nut fry.  :D  Those pig fries were great, too!  8)
Love those open face spinning reels! (Especially ABU & ABU/Zebco Cardinals)

LOL when I was really young and my Spanish was not so I ordered tacos with brains. I confused the word with suero, which is rose meat. I have to admit they were some of the tastiest tacos I had. On occasion, I'll get them, but they are really mushy. Tongue on the other hand was a staple going up. It is the beefiest cut you will ever have. Boil it slice it up and pan fry it, just to crisp it up..... Taco city. I have cooked up Deer and Pig togue, but beef is my favorite

If you are ever near a Mexican community or taco truck and they have carnitas Michoacan style you can have most of the offal and skin (chichaon) mixed in or separate along with the meat.

I'm about to go and find that truck that sell babacoa for some taco for breakfast.. this post made me hungry.
