Penn Delmar 285 aluminum spool

The 85 is the same basic reel as the 285, but the 85 was the less expensive version of the 285, with plastic spool, bell shape wood knob and slotted screw on the handle, instead of the scalloped version. Also low quality nickle plating. This 85 would date to early 40's with the yardage stamp on bottom of the seat
