Asking for eBay shipping alternatives

Any luck asking an eBay seller to ship via USPS Priority instead of Ground Advantage?

The latter (advertised as 2-5 business days), sometimes takes an entire month to ship to Hawaii; whereas Priority Mail lives up to its advertised delivery time.

I miss the days when eBay had different shipping options for buyers to click on. Now it appears Ground Advantage is set as the default—and sellers must cancel their listing/transaction, in order to re-list the item with Priority shipping.

What a clunky and unnecessary process.
