also need to show this to my wife,"see my collection is comparatively modest "  :fish
I think I have over 75 in 710 greenies alone. I had way more. But sold off most. Focused on Penn Mitchell Luxor and some others. Airex interested me due to being the first USA made spinning reels. It's a love few understand. Hated history in school. But fishing history. Can't get enough.

I tell my wife. Better than booze and women. Plus I'm home and she knows where to find me. In the middle of that little room.

Quote from: thorhammer on October 15, 2026, 07:08:27 PMMebbe not you; I have to get mods to right mine often as not. Sure, sell some. You will look at the available space and buy more. Trust me on that; I've been saying it for decades.

Now I have to cancel my actual fishing vacation next week and stay home to dust my reel shelves after seeing yours.
Haaaa. Mine are quite dusty too. Yeah. I cleared space. Then added more when I sold. Same with my lures. It's a great wholesome lifestyle. It's beyond a hobby.

Don't do it, John!!
And you know that you're over the hill
When your mind makes a promise that your body can't fill
Doin' the old folks boogie and  boogie we will
'Cause to us the thought is as good as a thrill
