Tis The Season

 Had a great month of Sept fishing local coho salmon. Only missed one day for the month of September due to high wind. Now its time to smoke up some before the crap weather sets in. Today I'm smoking 2 batches back to back. First batch is done and 2nd batch is in the smoker.

 Now its time for lunch. Ritz cracker, cream cheese, and couple chunks of smoked salmon. Life is good !!

 Lol, our DFW would toss me in jail and throw away the key. It's illegal for anyone in Washington state to sell sport caught fish, but ok for me to gift it

I have a customer-friend that brought me a small bag of Salmon Fillets from Alaska, my 1st thought was smoking them to try them as Ted always show in those pics, crackers, cream cheese and salmon, but wife wanted them grilled, so grilled they were cooked.

It's so good that Silver salmon can still be caught in large numbers, in the lower 48.

Today I did 3 batches. The 3rd batch I cut a bit thicker pieces so I could do a heavier smoke. Nice to have a variety in my freezer to choose from
