I've been on a roll lately with older metal Sealine upgrades.  First the 300H and now 400H.

The original drag stack uses three composite washers that measured a full 2.0 mm thick.  Using my harborfr8 cheapie caliper I was able to do the drag sandwich arithmetic to see that I could build a stack using two more stock metals, one keyed and one eared, plus 5 size #42 carbontex washers from Smoooth Drag at .5mm thickness, to build a stack of very similar proportions. The Smoooooth carbontex washers have the exact outer diameter to fit the gear, and the inner diameter is just 0.2 mm too small, so can be easily modified.

The hardest part was to find the stock metal washers.  The old Sealine parts are getting difficult to source.  I'll post more details later.  Going to put a Cortez stainless sleeve in, and upgrade the handle also.
And you know that you're over the hill,
When your mind makes a promise that your body can't fill,
Doin' the old folks boogie and boogie we will,
'Cause to us the thought is as good as a thrill...
