interchangeablity Penn parts

    Hello     I have often wondered with the great amount of interchangeability of parts both exterior and interior within the vast array of Penn reels just why the part numbers were not consolidated and cataloged that way, seems it would save a lot of inventory cross reference hassle and multiple part numbers.
                 Is there a list of interchangeability ? I know there is for handles and bridges.

I usually go by part number but there is some interchangeability with parts with different numbers.  A 113H gear sleeve is not the same as a 349H gear sleeve but the 113 sleeve works in a 349 without modifying the anti reverse dog.

Hello   Yes  Thanks Keta , that is what I was getting at.
           I believe there are many more instances of the same type.
           I have found a few reel stands interchangeable.
           Is there a cross index somewhere ?
