Abu 6501 problem

While fishing the reel stops returning the push button to the up position. On the bench there is no apparent problem. The cog wheel has good contact to the clutch bar and pushes the bar to recock the reel. It will then work as it should but then will stop after several casts. Any Ideas ?
Same problem with Record 61 !!

i do not think this will work, but there are two small screws in the middle of the right side plate.  try backing them off a half turn.  same with the right side frame screws.

Position holder, frame not square, dented side plate/s, bad pinion yokes. Good luck.
