Mix bag of Penns.  Most have upgraded HT 100 drags, some have different types of handles and frames.
I think all of the Penn 146 Squidders and Penn 501's have a stainless steel sleeve.
I really like fishing these reels.  Often these reels are matched to some of the Truline
and Sabre rods in the last photo.

Another great selection John - thanks for sharing.
Love all the narrow frames.
I'm just building a 505HS at present and considering a 506 conversion (might be tricky to find though).

Now that's what I'm talking about... I've died and gone to Penn Heaven! ...sweet rods, too! I like the octagonal's and ya gotta love the ole' sabre stroker.

Thanks for the comments guys.   Yes, Dom, I really like fishing the octy rods.  There are some
1X's, 7x's, a 126, and a 1268 in that pic.  I have not fish the 8' 1268 but I will this summer.
