Very nice Harry, I'm glad that you decided to post them. That first pix belongs on a front cover of a fishing magazine. I would have never thought that there were so many Penn guys. Thanks for sharing. Sal
Forget about all the reasons why something may not work. You only need to find one good reason why it will.

Sal , i remember back in 1984 rockin up to the screwpile jetty at Victor Harbour and the whole wide end of that pier was chocka block full of reels ,mostly all  senators and  probably 2 or 3 Daiwa 900Hs. There woulda been 40 or 50 reels being fished that night easy if not more.

I often wonder where have all those reels gone ? Must be in some old shed collecting dust  i rekon, the rods too , cant seem to find any of those old school game rods that used to be around back then.

Thanks for all your kind comments. hope you all enjoy.  I will add more pics  soon too ;D

They cleaned up well Harry.  thanks for sharing.
:D I talk with every part I send out and each reel I repair so that they perform at the top of their game. :D

My 9/0 befor i found this site , gave it a quick service and checked out the drag  stack.

Never knew others would be so intreasted in fishing reels ,thought i was the only nut!

George4741

Harry, Did you replace the original drag washers with HT100's in your 9/0?

Indeed George i have ,but it did take the loss of a nice big fish to make me realise how bad the standard drag washers are once they get "HOT"....el greco would remember that night too!

All my penns have them now , except 1 12/0,  have them here though just havnt put them in yet, coming to think of it... ive never pulled that 12/0 to bits yet , ive only taken of the sideplate a couple of times to try to repair the line eating problem i HAD!

Cheers Harry
