Will red Corrosion-X harm 80lbs Power Pro?

This evening I gave my rods & reels a good spray and wipe down with Red Corrosion-X. Some portions of the spools, which are loaded with fresh 80lbs Power Pro Braid got pretty soaked with the Corrosion-X (yeah..not too swift..I know).

It wasn't until I was finished that it dawned on me that the Corrosion-X might damage the line or that the scent might turn fish away.

Does anyone have any experience with this and what was the result?

Please dont tell me I need to strip off >330 yds of braid off 17 rods!

So far, I haven't had any issues with any lubricants affecting spectra lines.

it should be fine.  i've never had a problem with any of my reels.  and welcome!!!!!
