Shimano Curado G6 carbontex washer too big?

I ordered a set of smooth drags carbontex washers from biggreenfish.com for my Curado G6.  The big one that goes in the brass gear was slight too big.  I held the original washer together with the carbontex washer and trimmed the excess off with scissors.  The washer ended up not being perfectly round after the trimming.  It fits fine now and is large enough it doesn't slide around in the brass gear.  There is a few small gaps in spots around the edge, since it's not quite round.  Is that going to cause a problem?  Thanks.

Your modified carbontex washer should be OK.

I made a mistake, mis-marked the packaging.  I don't have the proper drag just yet, but will be working on it pretty quick.  The modified one should do you, and I will send you a correct set just as soon as I have them.  Just email me your info.

Thanks for the help.  I was afraid it did fit and I had just done something really simple wrong when trying to install it.
