penn jigmasters....the difference

what is the difference between the penn 500 500L and the 505HS. I know that the gear ratio is higher in the 505HS......and i believe they have bearings instead of bushings.  are the bridges and sleeves the same can  use the stainless sleeves for the 500 ..... what parts are interchangeable and what parts are not?

thats whats confusing me the bridge has different part no# but looks identical.

I tried to mix and match a 500 and 505 bridge and it did not work.

what about spools ........gears......anybody?

Neither the spools nor the gears are interchangeable between the 500 and 505 Jigmasters. The gears of the 501 fit the 500 and the 506 fit the 505.
