Duel 12/0 reel repair

I was told that the drag washer repair could not be done on my 12/0 reels by Duel.  "They don't make them anymore"  and is trying to sell me a new spool washer upgrade.  I am not sure how old they are but i have had them for about 4 years bought used off ebay .  looked like new when i recieved them.  The drags are sticking right now.  any advise?  Thanks
