HX Clicker

I have a new HX Wide I use for coastal sharks and on just its third fish the clicker quit working. I took it apart and one of the springs had come off! (not sure how?) I was able to get it back on with small needle nose pliers after much trouble. It still will not work and Avet is sending me new springs. I guess the main question is......is there any easy or secret way to put those clicker springs on or is it straight forward? I am worried I may stretch the new ones out and still have an issue.

i use a dental tool.  it is not easy......
