A question regarding a 5H Millionaire.

Hi,
I've got an early 5H, a brown one with the coloured stipes on the LH sideplate. Anyways, inside the cast control cap on the LH side sits a bronze bush with one concave side. Does the concave side face the cap or the bearing ?.

I have one of these that I bought at a garage sale may years ago for $10.
It appears to be a good light weight lvl wind and I need to add it to my
overhaul / tear down list so I can fish it. -g

This one was on a matching Daiwa rod for $15. By today's standards the old rod's a fairly primitive bit of gear   so I'm keen to get the outfit going so I can see how bad the old stick is.

Gotta love the old gear!!
The action on some of the classic rods.. Silaflex / Browning Silaflex, Harnell, and Sabre rods is why I seek them out
and bring old Penn's back to life for finesse type fishing
Your right about the new gear if it's for big fish I'll be pulling on,  give me a Calstar or Seeker.
