Can I put a 98-320 gear sleeve in a standard 113 black with posts? I would think this would work but you have to go to a type "B" handle. Am I thinking correctly?
Thanks

It would be great if it would, but no. The black 113 has a much smaller gear sleeve than the 320. The black 113 main gear (003 066) would not fit the 320 gear sleeve.

Installing a stainless gear sleeve is a great upgrade to your black 113.  It is more than strong enough for your reel.

There is one available for your reel, here is the one that you'll need:

Forget about all the reasons why something may not work. You only need to find one good reason why it will.

Hi Bob, should I add one to the other parts that I have reserved for you.
:D I talk with every part I send out and each reel I repair so that they perform at the top of their game. :D

you need a jigmaster gear sleeve for this one.  i've also got some it you need one.  this is the reel that benefits most from the stainless steel gear sleeve.
