Seems like the offshore scene is still producing yellowtail and Dorado there's rumors of yellowfin 100 miles moving this direction. The weather once again is been great with the exception of one day Friday last week the wind blew about 12 to 15 kn which caused a little havoc with us trying to locate kelp on outside. We're hoping to hear word here in the next week about the Coronado Islands being open back up to us, that still remains to be seen. The fish counts for the 16th the 17th and 18th as follows.

08/16/2012 42 anglers three-quarter day trip combined for 10 yellowtail, 06 Dorado
08/17/2012 three-quarter day trip 40 anglers combined for 35 Dorado 04 yellowtail

08/18/2012 three-quarter day trip 43 anglers combined for 12 yellowtail 61 Dorado as you can see from the past three days fishing

the three-quarter day fishing aboard the malihini for offshore species hasn't been this good in a couple years. So if you want to take advantage of this opportunity to come out with us  to  catch Dorado and  yellowtail off kelp's maybe some bluefin and  albacore that would be nice, now would be the time to make your reservation. As of right now Monday, August 20 the sold-out, we have 30 spots available for August 21 we have 31 available for August 22 and looks like we have on the  23rd  42 spots available and Friday the 24th we have 41 spots available we are sold-out for next Saturday which is August 25. Any time during the week there guys looks like the loads  might be light. So come on  and Make that reservation to go fishing. There are three ways you can do this you can go to www.malihinisportfishing.com or www.HMlanding.com or you can call H&M landing office at 619 – 222 – 1144 and make your reservation that way. Until tomorrow thank you  very much for your patronage aboard the malihini and looking at the website blogs tight lines
