Today I discovered that this mini crowbar from home depot has a purpose.
Works great in removing cogwheels.
Just insert far as you can under the cogwheel and rest on the middle of the sideplate.
Pry until the cogwheel pops up and out.

Kewl.....where does one buy such a tool? Who makes it, in case the store you use is not there where one lives?

didn't someone used a bent fork one time?  :-\
send me an email at alantani@yahoo.com for questions!

Its Vaughan Mini-Bar 222 (made in USA).  You can google it and buy them on-line also.  It works well.  Fulcrum against the middle bushing part and pry upwards until idler gear pops out.

They are readily available most hardware stores.  I think they are used for ripping out moldings.  Dominick
Leave the gun.  Take the cannolis.

There are two things I don't like about fishing.  Getting up early in the morning and boats.  The rest of it is fun.

Harbor freight has them and several others.

I'll see if they are available north of 49. (The 49th parallel is most of the CAD-USA border. Not everybody is familiar with the term.)
