Newell 600?

I recently acquired a 600 series reel,  the side plate is marked 646-3, I know it's not a 646-3 but a smaller model, but not sure if it's a 631 or a 636?  If it helps the width from outside plate to plate is roughly the same width as a 440. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My 646-3 is the same width as the 550 and my 641 is as wide as the 546/454.  Following this logic, if your reel is as wide as a 440, then you have a 631.  That 631 is a nice, light-weight jigging reel along the lines of the Newell Yellowtail Special but with a larger diameter spool.
