preppers seem to be forgetting that you do not need fuel to go offshore. Hell, mankind has been fishing offshore in dugouts and under sail for probably 10,000 years or more.

I've been albie fishing off of sailboats plenty of times, under sail you make 6kts, perfect for trolling and zero fuel .

Baja Special, Penn Torque 5 (spinner) and a Saltiga 30T will handle pretty much anything in salt that is real table fare until the Mutant Tuna take over .
