Roasted Game Hens
A family Thanksgiving favorite.  Roasted Game Hens are just small chickens, but roasted gives everyone a big portion of the roasted salty crusty skin.  Thanks to my wife Lee who let me steal her recipe for this post.
4 game hens
1 stick melted butter
Garlic powder
Dried Italian Seasoning
Kosher Salt
Black Pepper
1.   Thaw four game hens and melt one stick salted butter
2.   Paint one bird at a time with butter, then season with garlic, salt, pepper and Italian Seasoning
3.   Truss each bird and place on cookie sheet
4.   Bake in 350 degree oven for approx.. 1 hour and baste with the drippings

5.   Roast another hour until the bones pull easily from the meat

6.   Let sit approx. 15 minutes then serve.

It may not be very productive,
but it's sure going to be interesting!
