fin nor ahab CF washer

does anybody knows where to find them ? Friend of mine what to replace the actual Fin nor washers. Dawn does not have it , he purchased some kind of cork/rubber ones as per Dawns suggestions.
I suppose its better that what he has now. Help

Which Fin-Nor reel exactly? Several have had the same or similar Ahab nomenclature.
The late 1990s Japanese made Ahab reels had CF drag washers already.

And which cork/rubber are we referring to?

Generally, pure cork does rather well as a drag material. Cork + rubber has in my experience shown to be horrible.

I kind of thought cork / rubber wasn't an ideal solution . This are for a friend of mine , were trying to update his Abah 20 to a decent drag # for an upcoming trip. He called Dawn recently & she didn't have anything made for FiN Nor .
I am thinking would the CF washers from the OF series work ? Or we just might have to cut them from scratch , I email Alan to see if he has something similar or some advice o how to cut them .
Hopefuly we can get 15-18lb of drag out of that reel .
