Good to have you here.  Bill
It may not be very productive,
but it's sure going to be interesting!

Hi everyone, I'm excited for the opportunity to join up. Been a fisherman all of my life and have always been fascinated by reels, rods, and tackle. I have WAY more stuff here than I'll ever need, but always seem to find room for more. I love the vintage stuff and also the newest state-of-the-art gear. I do as much fishing as possible, but wish I had time to do more. I'm not yet retired I have a couple years to go, but I squeeze in what I can. I am mainly a Pennsylvania trout fisherman but in the late summer I do some saltwater fishing along the Massachusetts coast for striper, bluefish, etc. and in the fall I take some trips north to Salmon River NY and Erie Pa. for steelhead. Looking forward to learning more about maintaining and repairing some of the gear I have and learning more about whats out there.

I came because of a search for why the fishing talks Forum is gone. Without that place,I have spent more hours digging for information that used to be there and is now in cyber purgatory.

So, are there any ex-members here?

I'm looking for info on my Shakespeare wonderglass spincast rods. PB B11 is the model. These are 4' 11" and seem like they could be ultra light. I got them for my 1777 and a similar reel.
