Mitchell G 300 drag washer and shims

Have 2 mg 300's from around 1974 and need to find a drag washer for one and/or upgrade both to newer type  and would like to find a source for a shims. The tutorial was very helpful. Thanks - Don

I know this is an old thread, but can someone direct me to the tutorial he speaks of?  I cannot seem to locate it.  Thanks! J

Well, let's sticky it.  Sorry, we missed this one.

For drag washers, I use Penn's HT-100s or Carbontex in the size that best fits and matches what is in there already. 
:D I talk with every part I send out and each reel I repair so that they perform at the top of their game. :D
