About 2 X's a year I go with a friend to the Canal and fish the feeders and lakes for Peacock Bass I always used a spinning reel a few months ago I bought a Daiwa Millionaire 6B reel Brand new in the orig box parts tube the orig book , bag and registration form the reel was never used I bought a baitcaster rod and it's time to go for Peacock Bass but one problem I can not find out what test line or the amount goes on the reel. Does anyone have any Idea what and how much to use.

G'day Joel,
I have the old 300, which I believe is the same (or very similar) capacity.
I loaded about 280m (300yds) of 6kg (12lb)...
Hope that helps.
Cheers, Justin

Thank you it's a great starting point I was thinking like 8 lb but 12 line is thin enough. The reel must be 20 years old and never out of the box I lubed it and it spins like a top.

Thank You
