Atlas Kona 400

Hello,

Are any of you familiar with this reel and it's stated max drag settings at 26 lbs...?? Is this real world true..?

The Atlas Kona 400 is made by OMOTO. It is OMOTO's VS-12.

It has around 11lbs of drag with free spool.

A big shout out to Omoto Reels..!!!

I picked up an Atlas Kona 400 that had the AR bearing only. After opening the reel I noticed everything was there to add the friction ring and anti reverse dog. After writing Omoto they sent me all the parts needed for free..!!

The parts they sent were the friction washer, friction ring, dog with dog cover and screws, an extra pinion bearing and spring washers.

I will definately consider Omoto/Atlas reels in my future purchases.
