Calcutta Brake Collars

Whats the difference between the green brake collars and the red collars besides the color? Is one heavier duty/stronger than the other? Why does Shimano send both types with a new reel?

Probably different weights and maybe hardness.

Bryan is correct.  They are different weights.

Smoke/Clear- Lightest
Red/Pink- Lighter
Green- Heavier
Grey- Heaviest
