ive read where people say they dont freeze
very well.
what a lot of rubbish!
i treat all fish the same.
donger,bleed,ice slurry,vacuum pack.
to thaw them out,
take them out of freezer a day earlier
and defrost in the fridge.
not on the kitchen bench.

Is this the same bluefish we get here in the north eastern US? If so they do only two things, eat and breed. Very common here. Almost toooooo many!!

Hi mike, which PB are you on? I fish only on PB. Not enough expendable cash to own my own boat. Everything from stripers to tuna to tiles. Not enough time to get to much into fluke or blues.

For Blues & Stripers I will be on the Brooklyn IV from Peir 6 Sheepshead Bay. I mostly work on the Marilyn Jean IV also Pier 6. I will be in the galley on the M J IV Sat. & Sun. this week.

Mike, hardcore... I'm mostly down pt. pleasant nj. Gambler, seadevil, Voyager. Sometimes out to Montauk. You know....Viking, marlin. All good boats.

I've been as far as the Doris Mae. When you go to Montauk you pass 2 blocks from me Crossbay Blvd. & Belt Pkwy

Maybe I'll have to make a trip this year to Sheepshead bay? I'll let you know and good Luck this striper season. It looks like a bit of a slow start. Water is still a touch cool.
