Ambassadeur 10000 anti reverse

Hi everyone. Does anyone know of a reliable method for upgrading the anti reverse on a 10000? The standard anti reverse in my reel isn't too reliable.

Hello, can you define unreliable. Is your reel a Chinese modern one, or an older Swedish one.

Hi Christian,

Without knowing exactly which reel you have, it would be difficult.  some of them came with silent dogs that has 2 friction wings the help move the dog inwards towards the rachet.  Other have anti-reverse bearings.  I'm not sure if any had both.  If you could post pictures and if you are comfortable opening the reel, show us the internals of the drive side and is possible we can have a solution for you.
