New to the board although I've met one or two here including Rob J in the past. Have been a reader of Alan's excellent posts for quite a while on other forums. I know very little about servicing reels and so am here to learn.  Thanks to all of you for providing this information resource.

I'm based in the UK, a long way from the fish and fishing I like best (billfishing).  To pass the time in-between fishing trips, I make offshore fishing lures and dabble in rod building.

Welcome aboard. Glad to have you join us. We also have a section on lures if you would like to share.
:D I talk with every part I send out and each reel I repair so that they perform at the top of their game. :D

alantani

send me an email at alantani@yahoo.com for questions!

Heey... Dustin. Good to see you. Haven't seen you around anywhere in quite some time. Was wondering where you'd got to.

Forget about all the reasons why something may not work. You only need to find one good reason why it will.

It may not be very productive,
but it's sure going to be interesting!

Welcome, and you can bet we would love to see some pictures of lures.  I am going down to Baja in June if you need someone to test the lures for you ;) :D.  Dominick
Leave the gun.  Take the cannolis.

There are two things I don't like about fishing.  Getting up early in the morning and boats.  The rest of it is fun.

Thank you gentlemen... Rob J - it's been a while indeed - you need to come and test some reels with me sometime!
