Hi Alan,

Can I get 1 of each set for drag fitment?  Then I can send them to whomever wants them...I can wait.  I just want them to make sure I can have a drag set for them.

Bryan
:D I talk with every part I send out and each reel I repair so that they perform at the top of their game. :D

I just got a confirmation on the first 20 sets will be finished by mid-Sept, then I will have them a week later by mail.

Here is the specification and price.

2.) Helical precision cutting.
3.) True 5:1 ratio
4.) Smooth spin pinion.
5.) $46.99 (original) and $49.99 (custom).

For the first 20 sets (15 original and 5 custom) will be sold as above price.

For member who can wait for the mass production run (Dec 2013), the price will be $42.99 (original) and $45.99 (custom) each set.

Please let me know who want to have one set from the first 20 sets (1 per member). That will be first comes first serve.

If I remember correctly, the custom sets were for a hexagonal type drag?
If so,
I already have a 5/1 drag set. Definitely put me down for the first run.

The custom is not HEX. HEX is only in 114H and 115L.

For more info on the custom 112H/JM500 gear, please check with Bryan Young.

Is the availability for the original sets going in order of requests according to this thread?

Yes, but some members don't want to pay the full price, and they want to wait for the mass production run (save money).

I told you in the beginning that I was not in a rush for the gear sets & it has nothing to do with the price. At this time I have been doing Daiwa Reels mostly 27H & 50 H. The 50 H is a true workhorse of a reel.

I still want the 4 Gear Sets that I asked for but not now. When the full run comes in let me know.

Mike
I have not failed.  I just found 10,000 ways that won't work.
