Here's a reel from a friend that I didn't check thoroughly before i took it apart and now it's giving me grief as i put it back together.
I didn't check if this reel "auto trips" back into gear when the handle is turned....

After checking the schematic, I find there are two different (key804) "cam clutch sliders" for this reel .....
"auto trip" & "manual trip"

Can anyone identify for me which one this is 

it is functioning like a manual trip, i.e. the handle won't turn freely when in freespool and it doesn't "trip" back into gear unless shifted.
however, it appears to me this would ba an auto trip slider as the arm seems to extend to where it would contact the gear..
I'm baffled.

the stainless steel jack goes in last.  put the gear cluster in first, then the pinion gear, then the jack.

you're right alan...and it was fourth time a charm for me 
for awhile i thought there was a spring missing.
the schematic indicates a spring....maybe hooking that hole in the jack to that nearby post, same kind of spring as the a/r one shown ??
either way, it's working properly now..as an auto trip.
