I just got off phone with Hurst rep. Trying to convince them of the potential in smaller t-handles that can be used on our reels.  Guy is sending it up food chain and says someone will be in touch.  I wont hold my breath but wont give up easily either.

I am working on some "Hot-Rod" reels with vintage muscle car color schemes- they are screaming for a Hurst T-Handle.

I think their standard size handles would work nicely in a larger reel - anybody ever used or seen one on a reel?

on the goofy scale of 1-10 - how goofy is this idea?

Depending on the cost I'd at least think about it.

full size Hurst T-handle is $26 - as low as $11.50 new on ebay.....so .......

Hurst does not hold the market on that t-handle design- B&M and others also make them.  The Hurst name is somewhat iconic but in no way needs to be on my reels....
